Use the New Endpoint Wizard to define an endpoint connection. Each configuration of an endpoint connection requires a name and may be given a description.
Invoke the wizard by right-clicking on a folder in the Endpoint Manager and navigating into the Add Endpoint submenu. The available choices depend on the folder you selected.
The content of the wizard is determined by the type of endpoint connection being defined. Each endpoint connection has a set of properties. Note that some properties are required and some have default values. The order of the wizard pages places required properties before the optional properties. This allows you to click Finish when you have completed the required properties. Additional documentation for each property is supplied as Additional Help on each wizard page.
Within each folder in the Endpoint Manager, endpoints must have unique names; however, two endpoints can have the same name if they are located in different folders.
