Chapter 4 Building Business Process Diagrams
Modeling the implementation of processes
The choreography diagram provides various ways to model the implementation of processes in a system. You may start by analyzing your system then import a WSDL file (see Importing a service provider from a WSDL file) in order to implement your processes. You can:
- Describe your processes in a textual way, as a series of actions, which can be done by an employee for example
- Automate your processes using an execution engine [orchestration languages]
- Describe the internal behavior of each partner involved in a collaborative process [collaborative languages] (see the Working with ebXML chapter)
- Describe a loop process (see Specifying implementation types)
- Use an existing process to specify the implementation of your current process [analysis languages (except DFD) and collaborative languages] (see Specifying implementation types)
