Adding a Service-Driven Component to a Web Application

After you create a Web application, you can add a service-driven component. To add a service-driven component, you must enable SOAP Service component support in your Web application project. SOAP service component support adds libraries that enable the generation of service managed beans during design time and invoke the service at runtime.

To add a service-driven component:

  5. Complete the faces-config xml file configuration.

  6. Complete the web.xml file configuration.

  7. Create a Web application navigation flow.

  8. Deploy the Web application.

  9. Test the linked pages in the Web application flow.
