After developing one or more services, you move to the Package phase. If you are creating a services package, you must develop a Sybase services package profile. The Sybase services package profile is then used to create the physical services package.
The following workflow guides you through the development process. For assistance in performing these tasks, open the appropriate services package profile cheat sheet.
Complete these prerequisites.
Create connection profiles for services.
Set preferences, including driver definitions, for services requiring specific preferences.
Create the services package profile using the Services Package Profile wizard.
The Sybase Services Package Profile editor opens.
If all service profiles included in the package are complete, the generated package is ready to deploy. Deploying a Services Package contains the defaults that are used when deploying at this stage.
Complete the Sybase Services Package Profile. You can edit the following in the default package profile:
Learn more about using the editor for the services package profiles (Introduction page).
Update the services package profile contents (Contents page).
Configure endpoints for the package profile (Endpoint Configuration page).
Define the access configuration for the services package profile (Access Configuration page).
Configure the runtime container and logging (Runtime Configuration page).
At this stage, you can do one of the following:
Continue with the process by adding the defined service package to a Deployment Profile.
