HIPAA standard maps

HIPAA transaction standard maps control the protocol and content for exchanging claims, inquiries, and miscellaneous transactions between health care entities.

HIPAA standard maps are inbound only.

Sybase HIPAA Accelerator includes standard maps for each X12/HIPAA transaction. See Table 1-1 for a list of the subfolder names that contain the standard maps, which are located at C:\Program Files\Sybase\HIPAA60\Standards.
