This tutorial teaches you how to use WorkSpace to build mobile applications and deploy those applications from portal Web pages. Portal functionality is generally used for applications that a user accesses via a standard Web browser, as opposed to mobile applications that are individually deployed to a mobile device. The Web browser can be on a desktop computer or on a handheld mobile device.
At the end of the tutorial you will know how to:
Turn on portal functionality within WorkSpace mobile tooling
Add a mobile application to a page
Add a Web page to a page group
Deploy a page group
Browse to a mobile application on a mobile device
This tutorial teaches you how to use the Mobile Development tooling with Unwired Accelerator. It assumes a working knowledge of Sybase Unwired Accelerator.
Mobile applications are deployed to portals within page
groups, which means that the mobile application must be placed on
a page that is contained in a page group. When the page group is
deployed, the mobile application is available in a Web browser. See
