Undoing a consolidation

Consolidation cannot be undone by a simple command. If you want to undo consolidation, you can to delete a version created by consolidation. however, this operation requires the following precautions:

• Lock the document in the repository to prevent other users from modifying the document
• Select the Freeze current version and create a new version check box in the consolidation dialog box.
  
  This protects the existing repository version and creates a new version.

You can then delete this new version if you want to undo consolidation.
