Chapter 3 Basic Repository Tasks

Using the Repository

The majority of repository users will be concerned primarily with:

adding documents to the repository (see Adding Documents to the Repository)
checking in (or "consolidating") changes made to these documents (see Consolidating Changes to Documents Stored in the Repository)
checking out (or "extracting") documents (see Extracting Documents from the Repository)
browsing, searching for, and comparing documents (see Browsing the Repository Contents)

Permissions
You must have at least Write permission to add or consolidate a documents in the repository, and at least Read permission to extract one. For more information on permissions, see "Controlling Permissions for Repository Items" in the Repository Administration chapter.
