Resources (BPM)

A resource is similar to a data store. It can be a data, a document, a database, a component, or an executable. It is a special asset that a process can use. It has the following symbol in the diagram:

You access data stored in the resource using the resource flow object.

For more information about the resource flow, see section Resource Flows (BPM).

You are not allowed to create shortcuts of a resource.

Resources are not available in the executable and collaborative Business Process Models.
