Chapter 8 Consolidating Documents in the Repository

Consolidating multiple document versions

You can select multiple document versions to consolidate from the local workspace or the repository browser.

When you consolidate a document for the first time in the repository, you must have the Write or Full permission on the target folder or root node.

When you update an existing document, you must have the Write or Full permission on this document or on one of its packages if you want to consolidate a PowerDesigner model.

When you consolidate PowerDesigner models related by shortcuts, the consolidation order is the following:

• The target models are consolidated first, these models contain objects used to create a shortcut
• The source models are consolidated after
