Attaching an activity to an organization unit

When an activity is attached to an organization unit:

• The activity is attached to the swimlane and is displayed within the swimlane in the activity diagram
• The organization unit name is displayed in the Organization Unit list in the activity property sheet

To attach an activity to an organization unit:

1. Double-click the activity in the diagram to open the activity property sheet. Select an organization unit from the Organization Unit list and click OK.
   
   or
   
   Click the Activity tool in the palette and click in the required swimlane.
   
   or
   
   Select an activity symbol in the diagram, press the alt key and drop the symbol into the required swimlane.
   
   The organization unit name is displayed in the Organization Unit list and the activity is attached to the swimlane.
