Selecting a repository model and a local model

You can compare a version of a model stored in the repository with a local model.

Steps To select a repository model and a local model:

  1. Select a model in the local Browser.
  2. Right-click the node and select Compare with repository.

    The Select Models to Compare dialog box appears.
  3. Select the repository radio button in the Model 1 groupbox if you selected a model in the local browser.
  4. Type the name of the model in the Name box of the Model 1 groupbox or click the down arrow to select a model.
  5. Select a version from the Version dropdown list box.


    Note   Model properties
    You can use the Properties tool, beside the Name box to open the model property sheet in read only mode.

  6. Click OK to start the comparison.
