Chapter 7 Managing a List Report
You can generate a list report for the following external files:
You generate a list report from the Generate List Report dialog box that you access from the Report→Generate List Report command. You usually use this dialog box when you do not need to edit the list report before generating or when you want to generate several list reports one after the other.
Otherwise, you can also generate from the Content tab or Result Sets tab of a given list report property sheet.

The Generate List Report dialog box contains the following parameters:

Generate list report | Displays all the list reports that you can generate. You can select one at a time. The Filename box in the lower part of the dialog box is automatically filled with the name of the list report. |
Generated format | List of available generation formats: CSV, RTF, HTML, and XML |
Filename | Name of the generated file with the extension corresponding to the generation format you have selected. The Filename box is initially filled with the name of the list report and the file is saved in the PowerDesigner installation folder. You can click the Select File tool to change the name of the file to generate and choose another location. |

Generating from the List Report Wizard
At the last page of the List Report Wizard, you can directly generate the created list report and choose a generation output.
