Exporting and Importing List Report Files

It can be useful to exchange list report files between models of the same type. The list report can stand for a basis for another model; you can then open the list report property sheet and customize it as needed.

You export and import list report files from the List of List Reports. A list report file has a .LRT extension.

Exporting a list report

To export a list report:

1. Select Report→List Reports to open the List of List Reports.
2. Select a list report in the list and click the Export List Report in File tool in the toolbar.
   
   A Save As dialog box appears.
3. Select a location in the Save in box at the upper part of the dialog box.
4. Type a name for the list report in the File name box at the bottom part of the dialog box and click Save.
   
   The list report is saved with the .LRT extension and can be imported when needed.

Importing a list report

To import a list report:

1. Select Report→List Reports to open the List of List Reports.
2. Click the Import List Report from File tool in the toolbar.
   
   An Open dialog box appears.
3. Browse for a location in the Look in box at the upper part of the dialog box.
4. Select a .LRT file in the File name box at the bottom part of the dialog box and click Open.
   
   The list report you have imported is displayed in the List of List Reports.
