Connection Profiles

A connection profile enables connection to servers, message transports, and databases. You can create and configure the following connection profiles using the Enterprise Explorer, or you can use any of the fully-configured default connection profiles installed with Sybase WorkSpace.

Connections to messaging transports that do not use connection profiles, such as email and generic JMS providers can be used. See User Specified Connection Properties for Messaging Types.

If a connection profile is set to Auto-Connect and is unable to establish the connection when the Sybase WorkSpace is launched WorkSpace, right-click the connection profile and select Disconnect. Then right-click and select Connect.
