Sybase WorkSpace provides four default JDBC driver definitions and one default JMS driver definition:
JDBC
Sybase ASA Default
Sybase ASE Default
Sybase ASE XA Default
Sybase ASIQ Default
JMS
EAServer v5.0 Default
You can also define your own driver details, if you have the required driver files. The driver details template lets you specify the location of the required driver file or files. These details are saved as part of the driver definition so when you create another connection profile of the same type, the driver locations are already known.
The Driver Definitions dialog is in two locations:
Select Window|Preferences|Sybase, Inc.|Driver Definitions.
From the New Connection Profile dialog, click the button to the right of the driver drop-down list.
See Setting Driver Definition Preferences for more information about the Driver Definitions dialog.
