Developing a Message Definition

To use custom wire format in a message service, develop a message definition.

The following workflow guides you through the process of creating and testing a message definition project. You can also view these steps in a cheat sheet.

To develop a message definition:

  1. (Optional) Set Message Designer preferences.

  2. Create a Sybase Project.

  4. Construct the message definition:

  5. Save the message definition.
