As part of developing a business process service, you must edit the default operation and you can add other service operations either in the Business Process Service Interface or the Business Process editor. A business process service must include one operation, but can include many operations based on its implementation. Each service operation describes an action that is supported by the service.
To add a service operation in the Business Process Service Interface:
In the service diagram, right-click in the box around the operation and select Add Operation.
The service operation appears in the service interface diagram.
To change the operation name, right-click on the operation and select Rename from the context menu.
The Rename dialog box appears.
Type the new name and click OK.
To add a service operation in the Business Process editor:
Click on the Business Process canvas to activate the Tool Palette.
If the Tool Palette does not appear either on the Fast View shortcut bar or as an open view in the perspective, open the Tool Palette.
Drag and drop the Receive Request activity from the Interface tool palette onto the business process canvas.
To name the Receive Request either expand the Properties section in the Business Process Logic Page or open the Properties Panel view, whichever you have selected to use, type the new name in the Name field, and either press Enter or click outside the field to save the value.
You can also change an activity's name directly on the canvas. Select the activity, then click its label. When the label appears in a box, type the new name.
