Using the Composite Application Layout Editor

Use the Layout page in the composite application editor to configure and add content to the composite application. You can select from different formats or create a custom format. Formats determine the way in which the composite application displays in either the portal or a mobile device.

The Format section of this page displays different options depending on whether you chose Mobile Tab Flow, Portal Page Flow, or Portal Application Flow when you created the composite application. See Creating Composite Applications.

If the composite application is either a Portal Page Flow or Portal Application Flow type, you can select from layout options of:

  • Full Layout – the content occupies 100% of the browser window.

  • 30%/70% – two columns, with one column occupying 30% of the browser window, and the other column occupying 70%.

  • 50%/50% – 2 columns with each column occupying 50% of the browser window.

  • Custom Layout – 3 columns, where you can select different widths from the drop-down list.

    Note

The column widths added together must equal 100%.
