Setting Mobile Development Editor Preferences

Use the Preferences dialog to set Mobile Development Editor preferences for creating and editing templates and mobile applications.

To set Mobile Development editor preferences:

Select Window|Preferences from the main menu bar.
The Preferences dialog box appears.

Expand Sybase, Inc|Mobile Development in the left pane and select Editors.

The Editor dialog allows you to define the editor to use when creating or modifying mobile applications and templates. It also allows you to choose which pages to display during the mobile application development process.

Mobile Applications

Section	Description
Mobile Application Pages	Select any number of Mobile Application Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for mobile application editing. Select Show Authentication in the Web Service Element check box if you want to display the authentication options for a Web Service element during development.

Mobile Templates

Section	Description
Mobile Template Pages	Select any number of Mobile Template Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for mobile template editing.

Composite Applications

Section	Description
Composite Application Pages	Select any number of Composite Application Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for composite application editing.

The Mobile Page tab appears if you selected the Mobile Pages Capability preference.

Mobile Page

Section	Description
Mobile Pages	Select any number of Mobile Page Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for mobile page editing.

The Mobile Page Group tab appears only if you have selected the Mobile Page Groups Capability preference.

Section	Description
Mobile Page Group Pages	Select any number of Mobile Page Group Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for mobile page group editing.

The Mobile Catalog tab appears only if you have selected the Mobile Catalogs Capability preference.

Mobile Catalog

Section	Description
Mobile Catalog Pages	Select any number of Mobile Catalog Editor pages that you want to view during the development process.
Advanced Configuration	Select the type of editor from the drop-down list that you want to use for mobile catalog editing.

Click Apply to save your changes.
Click OK to exit the dialog.
