Generating and Editing BlackBerry Device Templates

From the Mobile Template Editor, use the Customize Device Template for BlackBerry to customize the look and feel of a BlackBerry device.

Device

Enter the name of the BlackBerry client.

Client Version and Icon Properties

Allows you to set the client version and icon of the device.

Default Profile Properties

Allows you to create a default profile for the device.

Mobile Application List

Header Properties

  • Icon - defines the header as an image.

  • Text - defines the header font.

  • Text color - defines the color of the header text. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Background color - defines the color of the header background. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Footer Properties

  • Text - defines the footer font.

  • Text color - defines the color of the footer text. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Background color - defines the color of the footer background. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Mobile Application Properties

  • Default text color - defines the default color of the text in the mobile application. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Default border color - defines the default color of the border in the mobile application. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Default background color - defines the default color of the background in the mobile application. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Select the mobile applications to be displayed in the Go To menu.

Defines the link options displayed in the Go To menu.

Default Properties

  • Row Properties - defines text and background colors for the rows in a mobile application view and allows you to alternate colors between rows. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Custom Properties

By default, all mobile applications use the color set in default properties:

  • Click Add to specify custom colors.

  • Click Edit to change a color.

  • Click Remove to use the color set in the default properties.

Splash Screen
