Generating and Editing BlackBerry Device Templates
From the Mobile Template Editor, use the Customize Device Template for BlackBerry to customize the look and feel of a
BlackBerry device.

Device
Property type | Description |
---|
Cod file name | Enter the name of the BlackBerry client. |
Client Version and Icon Properties | Allows you to set the client version and icon of the device. |
Default Profile Properties | Allows you to create a default profile for the device. |
Mobile Application List
Property Type | Description |

Header Properties |
Icon - defines the header as an image.
Text - defines the header font.
Text color - defines the color of the header text. Click the color bar to display the
color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a
new color.
Background color - defines the color of the header background. Click the color bar to
display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors
to define a new color.

Footer Properties |
Text - defines the footer font.
Text color - defines the color of the footer text. Click the color bar to display the
color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a
new color.
Background color - defines the color of the footer background. Click the color bar to
display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors

Default Properties |
Header Properties - defines the text and background colors in the mobile application

Row Properties - defines text and background colors for the rows in a mobile
application view and allows you to alternate colors between rows. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from
the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Custom Properties | By default, all mobile applications use the color set in default properties:
Click Add to specify custom colors. Click Edit to change a color. Click Remove to use the color set in the default properties.

Splash Screen
Property type | Description |

Splash screen image | Allows you to add an image file to define the look of the splash screen. |
Splash screen message | Allows you to write text for the splash screen. |
