Creating and Generating a Java Web Service for Sybase WorkSpace

You have to perform the following tasks:

• Creating a Java Web Service for Sybase WorkSpace
  To create a Java Web service for Sybase WorkSpace:
• Defining the Java Class Package
  When you create a Web service using the Web Service Wizard, the Java class and the Web service component are both created at the model level. If you need to define a package name for your Java class and component you can use the Add Package Hierarchy feature in PowerDesigner.
• Customizing and Previewing the Java Web Service Using the Web Service Component
  The Java Web service is represented by a Web service component. You can customize the Web service using the component attributes (Name, Comment, Author and so on).
• Generating the Corresponding Java Web Service for Sybase WorkSpace
  The Web service generation allows you to create the following files:
• Understanding the Web Service .svc_java File
  The svc_java file defines a Java Web service, an svc_java file is generated for each Java Web service.
• Open the Java Web Service in the Workspace Java Service Editor
  After generating the Java Web service in PowerDesigner, you can open it with the Java Service Editor to further implement it.
