Custom Setup

A custom installation allows complete control over system configuration, ports, IP addresses, tuning parameters, and so on.

1. Demo Feed Handler Configuration
   The demo feed handler configuration dialogs allow you to set the UAF agent listening port and UAF agent component name, identify data channels to be used to send multicast messages, set listening ports, set performance options, and identify the JINI Server Host Name.
2. FAST Feed Handler Configuration
   The configurable properties of the FAST feed handler include UAF port settings, FAST feed parameters, data channel assignments, listening port settings, and the JINI server host name.
3. Publisher API Configuration
   The publisher API configuration dialogs allow you to set the UAF agent listening port and UAF component name, identify the data channels to be used by the publisher API, set listening ports and performance options, and identify the JINI server host name.
4. RAPCache Database Server Configuration
   Silently installs Adaptive Server 15.5, creates the cache database objects, and loads the sample data.
5. RAPCache Subscriber Configuration
   Allows you to set the UAF agent listening port and UAF component name, assign data channels, set listening ports and performance options, and identify the JINI server host name.
6. RAPStore Database Server Configuration Options
   Silently installs Sybase IQ 15.2, creates the RAPStore database objects, and loads the sample data. The installer sets all configuration parameters to IQ defaults.
7. RAPStore Subscriber Configuration
   The configurable properties of RAPStore subscriber include UAF port settings, temporary market data file locations, data channel assignment, and listening port settings.
8. Demo Subscriber Configuration
   The configurable properties of the demo subscriber include UAF port settings, data channel assignment, listening port settings, and publisher assignment.
9. Operations Console Configuration
   The configurable properties of the Operations Console include JINI port numbers, OpsConsole database and cache server settings, RAPStore database server settings, and Web server settings.
