RAPStore Database Server Configuration Options

Silently installs Sybase IQ 15.2, creates the RAPStore database objects, and loads the sample data. The installer sets all configuration parameters to IQ defaults.

Operations Console communicates with the RAPStore database through an intermediary UAF agent that listens for requests. This dialog sets the UAF agent listening port.

Identifies the listening port that the UAF agent uses to communicate with Operations Console. You can use any free port on your system.

This dialog identifies the RAPStore database server’s name and port number.

Identifies the server where the RAPStore database resides. Must be unique across the sub-network.

Identifies the RAPStore communications port.

Note: By default, "Create Market Data Tables" is selected. Unselect this only if you are installing RAP in a clustered environment.

To identify the names of IQ servers in the network, run $RAP/RAPStore/IQ-15_2/bin/dblocate

Installing Operations Console also installs a JINI server that tracks RAP components. This dialog appears only if you install components separately. If you install multiple components at the same time, and previously identified the JINI server host name, this dialog does not appear.

If this dialog appears, identify the JINI server host name to register RAPStore database server with the JINI server.

Identifies the host name of the server where the RAP JINI server resides. This is the machine on which Operations Console is installed.
