Monitoring System Components and Connections

Verify that components are connected properly, and running, using the System View pane on the Message Flow subtab.

• Click the Message Flow subtab to view components and their connnections.
• Refer to the System View pane to view component status and information for publishers, subscribers, and RAPStore and RAPCache databases.
• Verify status of components. If the Stop button is active, the component is started. If the Start button is active, the component is stopped.
• To verify a component's connections, move your mouse over the component.

• Refreshing the System View
  Click the OpsConsole refresh button to show components that have been added or removed from the RAP OpsConsole.
• Message Flow
  Conceptually, data flow moves from components on the left side to the right side of the System View pane under the Message Flow subtab.
• Displaying a Log File
  View publisher and subscriber log files in the System view pane, under the Message Flow subtab.
• Starting or Stopping a Component
  Start and stop publishers, subscribers, the RAPCache, and RAPStore from the component panes on the Monitor tab.
