Use the Monitor tab to start and stop installed components, to view transfer or truncation rules and their histories, and system configurations.
The Monitor tab contains subtabs for monitoring OpsConsole functions such as Message Flow, Transfers, Transfer History, Truncations, and Truncation History.
The Message Flow subtab contains the System View, Statistics, and Latency panes.
The System View pane shows component connections within the RAP system. Publishers appear in the left side, subscribers in the middle, and RAPCache and RAPStores on the right. Publishers, RAPCache, and RAPStores sort alphabetically. Subscribers are grouped according to the RAPCache or Store databases they use, and then alphabetically by name. Colored lines connect components. Move your mouse over a component icon to see lines in bold, which indicates different component connections.
Each component displays name, host name, status, and status icon information, as well as the start, stop, and view log buttons for that specific component. The RAPStore subscriber has an additional file activity button available. The Statistics pane shows statistics for the publishers and subscribers, as well as the statistics legend. The Latency pane shows component latency information.
The Transfers and Truncation subtabs monitor both in-progress and completed transfers or truncations for specific rules.
The Transfer History and Truncation History subtabs contain all transfer or truncation history entries, and allow you to enact various filter criteria. See Transfers and Truncations.
