The complete configuration process consists of two parts: Define, which takes place prior to the Design phase, and Configure, which takes place prior to the Deploy phase.
During the definition phase, initial configuration steps are completed. Using the Services, Design, and Administration perspectives of the Orchestration tooling, you set up resources that can be used during the Design phase to design business processes.
The Define phase steps include the following:
Define services, including messaging, database, replication, and web services
Set Unwired Orchestrator preferences, such as JDBC driver paths and UDDI registry entries
With completion of the definition phase, move to the Design phase.
