Unwired Orchestrator helps you to automate the complex interactions between heterogeneous systems that exist in and between organizations. Using Unwired Orchestrator, you design, administer, and manage end-to-end business processes.
The following shows a typical conceptual workflow. Click on a workflow phase to learn more about what is included or review all phases.
The workflow for Unwired Orchestrator is flexible and can be managed using the following:
A variety of users, each handling one or more roles, within the organization can participate in the development of projects and business processes. In some organizations, each role may be specialized and handled by a single user. In other organizations, one user may handle multiple roles. Unwired Orchestrator is designed to accommodate this flexibility.
The design and implementation of a project, including one or more business processes, includes multiple tasks. The tasks are loosely grouped by role. The grouping of tasks by roles allows tasks to be completed by multiple users within the organization, each handling a role, or by fewer users within the organization, each handling multiple roles.
By collaborating at the start of this process, the users fulfilling the business and systems analyst roles can create a plan and identify available and required resources. The business analyst can drag-and-drop icons on the palette to simulate the business process. The systems analyst can create and test the connections to resources needed by the business process. In an organization where roles are more specialized, the business analyst roles might be split to include a user who has greater specialization in web services. The system analyst roles can include a user with database expertise.
The project and business process development process does not need to be linear. The sequencing of steps required to complete a functioning business process is flexible. For example, resources such as services can be created before the business process is designed. Alternatively, a business process can be designed before all of the resources are connected.
