In Chapter 9, “Troubleshooting,” the documentation should be updated:
On page 161, in Table 9-1, “Troubleshooting Unwired Accelerator problems,” for the problem starting with “Cannot start ASA database,” you now need to check only the server.xml file for the ASA port number, and not the global.properties.xml file. With UA 8.0, the global.properties.xml file no longer includes any database connection information.
On page 173, in Table 9-9, “Troubleshooting SAP, Domino, and Remedy connection problems,” for the problem starting with “UA cannot connect with the SAP environment,” here are additional items to check:
Check that there are not different versions of the librfc32.dll and sapjcorrfc.dll libraries in the PATH from other SAP software installations (especially look out for WINDOWS\system32 for these). If older versions are in the PATH, replace them with newer versions.
When you are checking global.properties.xml file for SAP settings, make sure the new property, SAP.Enabled, is set to true. The parameter indicates whether to enable SAP integration in Mobile Web Studio.
The new topics shown in Table 6 should be added:
