Chapter 7 Working with Business Process Models
You can import diagrams created in Visio into PowerDesigner. Importing your Visio diagrams into PowerDesigner's rich metadata environment enables you to link your architectural objects with the objects that will implement them, and to profit from PowerDesigner's powerful impact and lineage analysis features.

Installing the Visio plug-in
To import Visio diagrams, you must have Visio installed on your machine and have selected to install the Visio plug-in from the PowerDesigner installer.
Visio provides a menu to export a model into PowerDesigner.
