Generating the consolidated database

When you define MobiLink synchronization options (download and upload options, timestamp column name, use store procedure, etc.), you usually need to modify the consolidated database to perform the following actions:

• Add timestamp columns
• Add user name columns for data partitioning
• Update shadow tables
• Delete shadow tables
• Add conflict resolution tables
• Add triggers to maintain shadow tables
• Add Store procedures

To modify the consolidated database, you must perform the following actions:

• Update the consolidated database PDM
• Generate or modify the consolidated database
