Chapter 13 Working with MobiLink
A MobiLink remote database is a database that runs on the client side. A remote database can be a Sybase AS Anywhere or an UltraLite database. The database client can be a PC, a laptop, a pocket PC, a hand-held device, etc.
You design a MobiLink remote database the following way:

| Remote database | Database with a data connection linked to a MobiLink replication process and a subscription to a publication defined in the MobiLink replication process |
When you select the UltraLite type in the database property sheet, its symbol changes as follows in the diagram:
The property sheet of the PowerDesigner remote database designed for MobiLink contains the following additional tabs:
