Chapter 11 Building Transformation Control Flow Diagrams

Transformation Control Flow Diagram Basics

A transformation control flow is a container from the transformation control flow diagram, which allows you to define the sequence of execution of a series of data transformation tasks.

The sequence can be decomposed into several transformation steps, which are linked together by control flows.

Transformation steps can include starts, task executions, task synchronizations, and ends:

You build a transformation control flow diagram when you need to describe in what order the transformation tasks included within your transformation process are implemented.
