Defining publications for the replication of tables

In the Publication Selection page, you create or select publications for the replication of tables.

You can either:

• Create or select an existing publication from the Publication list to gather all replicated tables, and thus simplify the replication when several remote databases must duplicate the same set of tables
  
  or
• Create a publication for each replicated table, and thus manage each table replication individually

Besides, depending on the publication type, you can optionally select a generation mode for your replication process in the Type list.

The available types are the following and are only available for replication processes designed for Replication Server:

• Undefined
• Publication
• Replication definitions
