A data connection group is a set of data connections that provides a relay in case the primary database goes down. Remote databases continue to get data (subscribed) from either primary or secondary data connections through the replication processes.

The switch from a data connection to another is performed manually in the Data Connection Group property sheet.
Note that the data connection of the stand-by database has a Write-only access type.
The data connection group corresponds to a Logical Database in Replication Server.
