Data Connections (ILM)

A data connection is a relationship that specifies the way data are moved between:

A database and a replication process
A data store (database, XML document, business process, and flat file) and a transformation process
Two data stores

The orientation of the data connection is defined by the way it is created graphically and determines the Access Type property of the data connection.

Dragging a data connection to a different object
You change the objects at either end of a data connection by clicking the data connection to select it, and dragging one of the attach points to a different object.
