Chapter 4 Building an Analysis Business Process Model
You can modify the properties of a message part from a message format property sheet:
Property | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name of the item which should be clear and meaningful, and should convey the item's purpose to non-technical users |
Code | The technical name of the item used for generating code or scripts, which may be abbreviated, and should not generally include spaces |
Comment | Descriptive comment for the object |
Stereotype | Extends the semantics of an object derived from existing objects but specific to your needs. You can type stereotypes directly in the Stereotype box of the object property sheet or select a value from the list if you have previously defined stereotypes in an embedded or imported extended model definition (.XEM) or in the process language |
Data type | Definition of the type of the message part (XML element, simple or complex type). You can choose from a list of simple data type in the list or you can click the Select Object tool beside the Data Type box to select an XML element or type from the XML models used by the current model |
Element type | Indicates whether the variable is an XSD element type or not. If you have defined a complex type (XSD element) in the Data type list, you should select that check box for the complex type element to be generated. The value of the data type is the name of the element prefixed by the namespace |
