This document describes the structure and contents of .xsl XML language resource files, which define the particularities of each XML language supported in the PowerDesigner XSM.
You should never modify an XML language shipped with PowerDesigner. Always create new XML languages from the original files. The XML language is saved in a file with the .XSL extension.
Modifications to an XML language can change the way PowerDesigner functions, especially when generating objects. You should ensure that you thoroughly test generated objects.
For more information on creating a new XML language that is a copy of an existing XML language, see section Creating a new resource file, in chapter The Resource Editor in the General Features Guide .
