This document describes the structure and contents of .xpl process language resource files, which define the particularities of each process language supported in the PowerDesigner BPM.
You should never modify a process language shipped with PowerDesigner. Always create new process languages from the original files. The process language is saved in a file with the .XPL extension.
Modifications to a process language can change the way PowerDesigner functions, especially when generating objects. You should ensure that you thoroughly test generated objects.
For more information on creating a new process language that is a copy of an existing process language, see section Creating a new resource file, in chapter The Resource Editor in the General Features Guide .
