Extracting the document versions of a configuration

As explained in the case study at the beginning of the section, you can use the configuration feature to extract documents from the repository.

Extracting the documents of a configuration, helps you create on your local machine the appropriate environment to work on a specific task.

To extract the document versions of a configuration:

1. Select Repository→Extract to display the Extract Multiple Documents dialog box.
2. Click the Add Document Versions from a Configuration tool.
   
   The Select Configuration dialog box is displayed.
   
3. Select a configuration in the list and click OK.
   
   The document versions of the configuration are added to the list.
4. Click OK to start extraction.
