Deleting a document version

You can delete the last version in a branch of the repository, provided you have full permission on the document.

When you delete a version, you delete the objects it contains.

Note   Shortcuts
When you delete a version, you may delete the target objects of shortcuts in other models; however these target objects are likely to exist in the versions following the deleted version. This has no impact in the repository, links between shortcuts and target objects are re-build after an extraction, in the local workspace.

Caution
Deleting a version cannot be undone, it can cause severe loss of data.

Delete all versions of a document

If you wish to delete all the versions of a document in all repository branches, select Delete Document in the document contextual menu in the repository browser. This action cannot be undone either.
