Chapter 8 Consolidating Documents in the Repository

Adding related documents

Related documents are:

• PowerDesigner models linked with shortcuts to other models
• PowerDesigner models generated from/into other models

You can consolidate a model version with its related model versions in order save the global environment of a document.

To add all related documents to the list of models to consolidate:

1. Select Repository→Consolidate.
   
   The Consolidate Multiple Documents dialog box is displayed, with an empty list.
2. Click the Add document version tool and add a first document to the list.
   
3. Click the Add Related Documents in Workspace tool.
   
   The documents are added to the list of the Consolidate Multiple Documents dialog box.
