Chapter 2 Installing PowerDesigner
PowerDesigner supports a framework of license management common to other Sybase products. This system defines different types of licenses corresponding to different types of use of the product.
All PowerDesigner license types support both standalone and administrative installation mode. In this manual the different types of license installation are explained in standalone mode. A separate section explains the administrative installation mode (see the "Installing PowerDesigner in Administrative mode" section).
