Defining Process Connections

A process connection is a relationship that specifies the way data are moved between two replication processes.

Data can be replicated from a source database to a first replication process and then sent to a second replication process which will replicate data in multiple remote databases:


The orientation of the process connection is defined by the way it is created graphically:

A process connection belongs to a package and has the following graphical symbol:


Note   Dragging a process connection to a different object
You change the objects at either end of a process connection by clicking the process connection to select it, and dragging one of the attach points to a different object.
