Chapter 12 Comparing and Merging Models

Previewing and printing merge actions

You can preview and print the selected merge actions from the Merge Models dialog box.

The merge result depends on the filter options you have previously defined.

In the Preview page, you can select the following options:

• Show Legend: displays an explanation of symbols associated with merge actions
• Show Model Identification: displays the name of the merged models

The Actions Description page displays a summary of all actions selected in the Merge dialog box, and the List page shows the same actions in a list format.

You can save the merge summary in a .txt file and you can print it in order to better analyze it.

To preview and print merge actions:

1. Click the Merge Preview tool in the Merge Models dialog box.
   
   The Merge Preview window is displayed. It displays the merge actions you have selected.
2. Click the Print tool.
   
   
      Saving the merge actions result
   You can save the merge actions result in a .TXT file. To do so, click the Save tool in the Merge preview window.
