Deleting a group

You can delete a group from the repository when it is no longer needed. When you delete a group you do not delete the members of this group, users or groups.

Deleting a group has the following result:

• The users who belong to the group lose the group rights
• All permissions on repository documents granted by the group are canceled
• The group is removed from the groups it belongs
• The group no longer appears in the list of groups

To delete a group:

1. Select Repository→Groups.
   
   The List of Groups appears.
2. Select a group in the list and click the Delete tool.
   
   The group disappears from the list.
3. Click OK.
