Inserting the current group into a group

You can insert the current group into a larger group.

For example, in a development team you have created several groups corresponding to the different teams: Designers, Quality Assurance, Documentation. You can insert these groups into a larger group called R&D to which you can define special rights.

When you insert a group into a group, you can use the Show All Parent Groups to display all the parent groups of the current parent group.

To insert the current group into a group:

1. Select Repository→Groups.
   
   The List of Groups appears.
2. Select a group in the list and click the Properties tool.
   
   The group property sheet appears.
3. Click the Parent Groups tab.
   
   The Parent Groups page appears.
4. Click the Add to group tool.
   
   A group selection box appears.
5. Select one or several group check boxes.
   
6. Click OK.
   
   The groups appear in the Parent Group list.
   
7. Click OK in each of the dialog boxes.
