Creating a group

Groups have the following properties:

Property Description
Name Name of the group
Code Code of the group used as identifier in the database
Comment Descriptive label for the group
Stereotype Sub-classification used to extend the semantics of an object without changing its structure; it can be predefined or user-defined
Password Password that may be used for database connection

Steps To create a group:

  1. Select Model→Users and Roles→→Groups.

    The List of Groups appears.
  2. Click a blank line in the list.

    or

    Click the Add a Row tool.

    An arrow appears at the beginning of the line.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Click the Properties tool.

    The group property sheet appears.
  5. Type a group name and a group code.
  6. Type a group password for further database connection.
  7. Click OK.
