Chapter 14 Impact analysis
You can save the changes made on default propagation rules using the Save button. This saves all the changes in a rule file with the .reg extension, because .reg format is an easy to exchange format.
You cannot save changes individually on a metaclass basis.
You can load an existing rule file using the Load button or double-clicking a .reg rule file.
If you wish to cancel the changes performed on propagation rules you can click the Default button to recover the list of propagation rules as it was saved in the Registry.
If you click the Set as Default button after performing changes in the list of propagation rules, you save these changes in the Registry and they become the new default values. Any change that is not saved using the Set as Default feature is lost when you close PowerDesigner.
