PowerAMC can generate standard CMP or BMP EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, and application server specific descriptors.
It uses the concept of extended model definition to support additional targets like application server, O/R mapping tool, IDE workspace, etc. An extended model definition (XEM) defines stereotypes, extended attributes, code generation templates, commands, and options. A XEM can add new code templates or override the templates of an object language (Java, XML, and so on); it can also be independent from the object language. The code generation templates use code templates and macros.
